Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What are the ingredients in ActiFlex?
ActiFlex contains 15 active ingredients, all carefully selected for their scientifically proven health benefits. The full list is provided below and more detail on their evidence-based benefits, click here.
Where is ActiFlex made?
All ActiFlex products are manufactured and packaged in Bedfordshire, England, under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions, in a facility registered with the Health Food Manufacturers Association (HFMA).
Is ActiFlex vegetarian or vegan?
ActiFlex is suitable for vegetarians, but not vegans due to one ingredient, Vitamin D3.
Is ActiFlex a medicine?
No. ActiFlex is a food supplement, a concentrated source of nutrients and herbal extracts, which supports your regular diet and helps avoid common deficiencies.
Does ActiFlex contain curcumin or turmeric?
ActiFlex contains curcumin, the active ingredient in the flowering plant turmeric, known for its roots, which are used in South-Asian cooking. Turmeric (in powder or raw form) typically contains less than 10% curcumin, so using curcumin itself means there is a greater proportion of the active ingredient that provides the health benefits. Additionally, ActiFlex contains a particularly premium quality variety known as High Strength Extract, which contains 95% curcuminoids. This means 95% of the ingredient is actively supporting your health, more than commonly found.
What makes ActiFlex high quality?
ActiFlex contains 15 separate ingredients, in relatively large amounts and chosen for their efficacy. For example, the daily dosage of Vitamin D3 provides 500% of nutrient reference value (NRV) and the Vitamin C offers 563%, both particularly high quantities compared to other multi-ingredient products. Premium forms of minerals are used – such as Magnesium Citrate and Zinc Glycinate – for their superior bioavailability. The formula includes High Strength Curcumin (as a turmeric extract), which provides 95% curcuminoids, rather than weaker, cheaper forms. Additionally, the product is made in England, to the highest manufacturing standards (GMP), not overseas.
Compared to similar products or buying all these nutrients separately, at less than £1 per day, ActiFlex is very good value, especially for a supplement made in England.
How often should I take ActiFlex?
ActiFlex should be taken twice daily, two capsules each time, with food (ideally a meal or substantial snack). Taking supplements with food helps maximise absorption. For many people, it helps to develop a routine. For example, taking two capsules with breakfast and then two with dinner.
If you find ActiFlex too strong or suffer from a sensitive stomach, you can reduce the dosage to one capsule, twice a day.
I currently take medication, can I take ActiFlex/supplements as well?
This depends on your individual health condition, history and type of medications, so it is not possible to generalise. If you are unsure whether ActiFlex can be combined with your prescription medication or taken with certain existing health conditions, we strongly advise you consult with your medical practitioner, providing them with a full list of ingredients (see below).

I have an existing medical condition, will ActiFlex/supplements help?
ActiFlex is a food supplement and not a form of medication, so should not be taken to treat or cure specific illnesses. However, people with chronic health conditions may suffer from deficiencies in vitamins and minerals, so ActiFlex can play a role in balancing these levels. Further, the individual ingredients offer benefits to the normal health of certain specific areas, such bones, muscles, cartilage and connective tissues (all which contribute to joint health), along with immunity and energy.
Can I take ActiFlex/supplements with blood thinners?
This depends on your individual health condition, history and type of medications, so it is not possible to generalise. There are ingredients in ActiFlex which may have a blood thinning effect. If you are unsure whether ActiFlex can be combined with your prescription medication or taken with certain existing health conditions, we strongly advise you consult with your medical practitioner, providing them with a full list of ingredients.
Effects of ActiFlex
What benefits can I get from supplements?
In general, food supplements are a way to boost levels of certain vitamins, minerals and natural extracts, which in turn play a vital role in the health of your body and mind. Many people have deficiencies in key nutrients and supplements may play a role in addressing this. Food supplements should not replace a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. They are not intended as a treatment or cure of specific medical conditions.
What benefits can I get from ActiFlex?
ActiFlex provides high doses of 15 different nutrients, in premium quality forms, which are in turn individually linked with certain health areas. These areas include support for bones, muscles, cartilage and connective tissues (all which contribute to joint health), along with immunity and energy. How these benefits manifest varies by individual.
How long does it take until ActiFlex start working?
The active ingredients in ActiFlex start contributing towards supporting good health immediately, as they are proven to support a variety of health aspects. However, different individuals will experience different effects and over different time periods. We recommended to take ActiFlex for at least four weeks to benefits, although many customers report an impact earlier.
Will this help with knee/wrist/hip/foot pain?
ActiFlex is a food supplement not a form of medication and is not designed specifically to control pain. Individuals seeking pain relief medication should speak to their doctor, pharmacist or other medical practitioner.
The active ingredients in ActiFlex offer benefits to joint health (via muscle and cartilage), bone strength, immunity support and energy release. These benefits will manifest over time, with different individuals experiencing them differently. While some users do report reduced pain, this should not be expected.
